We turn CO₂ into
performance materials

Simply and at scale

Engineering performance from CO₂ with ground-breaking tech

Vateris' process technology platform converts CO₂ from industrial flue gas into vaterite-based calcium carbonate delivering performance at scale

How it works

From industrial emissions to engineered performance – at scale

How it works - Carbon capture process illustration
Capture

Industrial plants (cement, lime, chemicals, etc.) emit flue gas rich in CO₂. Instead of going straight into the atmosphere, the flue gas is redirected into Vateris' process

Convert

Inside our reactors, CO₂ reacts with calcium from gypsum to form calcium carbonate. The remaining sulfate from gypsum is utilised to generate a high-purity fertiliser

Create

From Vateris' process, we create two high performance, carbon-negative materials

Cost saved

The mineralised CO₂ is permanently stored in concrete and high purity fertiliser, helping critical industries to cut hard-to-abate emissions and save costs at the same time.
