Unlocking technical potential

The Panthera Group trial showed that Vateris’ technology can deliver verified embodied carbon reductions in real-world construction settings – not just in controlled testing environments. The ability to reduce carbon intensity by 20% while integrating seamlessly into existing concrete operations highlights a clear pathway for contractors to decarbonise without disrupting delivery or programme certainty.

This collaboration builds on a long-standing relationship, with Panthera Group supporting Vateris since 2022 and pioneering sustainable construction solutions such as the EnviroHoard system.

Vateris’ carrier technology integrates directly into the concrete used in EnviroHoard, permanently locking away CO₂ and strengthening verified carbon reporting. The success of this trial led Panthera Group to agree to become the first UK-based contractor to utilise Vateris’ product in its concrete mixes. As with other customer engagements, the results replicate outcomes seen across multiple trials – reinforcing that this performance is repeatable, scalable, and ready for broader adoption across the construction sector.
