What’s interesting about Vateris is that they are constantly bringing new ideas and materials to the table that work, which shows to me that they have very good know-how within the company

Unlocking technical potential

The Hamm plant trial marked a major milestone for Vateris, demonstrating that its GypCarb product delivers measurable performance improvements in a live industrial setting – not just in laboratory trials. Achieving stronger concrete and improved rheology while permanently mineralising CO₂ demonstrates a rare combination of technical performance, cost efficiency, and emissions reduction.

These results aligned closely with outcomes seen in other customer trials, reinforcing confidence that the performance is repeatable and scalable. Following the success of the on-site pilot, Vateris and GOLDBECK progressed toward formalising an offtake agreement for the GypCarb product.

The focus now is scaling the technology for further industrial trials and preparing for market entry by 2027 – bringing concrete that is stronger, cheaper, and lower-emission into mainstream production.
